Afton Design Co. Awarded Graphic Design Contract for Virginia Tech

On October 1, Afton Design Co. will begin to provide graphic design services to Virginia Tech. Founded in 1872, Virginia Tech is a public university that offers 116 bachelor's degree programs through its nine undergraduate academic colleges in addition to master's and doctoral degree programs through the Graduate School and a professional degree from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. Virginia Tech’s colleges and units are often in need of additional resources to meet communications objectives, and through a competitive bid process, they sought vendors to provide high-quality services to Virginia Tech entities on an as-needed basis.

Virginia Tech awarded Afton Design Co. with an initial 3-year contract to provide graphic design services and help support its growing marketing needs. As a SWAM certified vendor, Afton Design Co. will support both short- and long-term design projects and help increase Virginia Tech's supplier diversity efforts.

Additionally, through the new contract, Afton Design Co. will join VASCUPP, the Virginia Association of State College and University Purchasing Professionals. This will allow any Virginia public body, cooperative purchasing organization, public or private health or educational institution or any University related foundation and affiliated corporation to work with us throughout the duration of the contract.
